Name: LATEEF Olusunmibare
Race Number: 44
From Kwara State comes this Civil Engineer / oil and gas professional who rides with the name “Ebony”.
According to Ebony, the thrill gotten from biking cannot be found in any other sports or whatever other activity one might indulge him or herself in.
“There is no explanation to it, thus, you gotta do it to know and understand and appreciate it”, he says.
For him, racing is about how much you can control, is about continuity and is a constant drive towards perfection.
He is one of the very few who can boast of having attended The BT from the inaugural year of 2013. Before The BT, there was the dirt bike races (MotoCrossNaija) of which he was also a part.
The BT 2016 will be his first time on the starting Grid and he will do that with a Kawasaki ZX6R in the SUPERSPORT (600cc) Category. According to him, the aim of any racer is to win but if it does not happen for him this year, his blast from Urhonigbe to Ugbokirima will be enough “victory”.
